exploring our world

Welcome to the blog where I’m exploring our world. Dedicated to showing what an amazing world we live in, you’ll find all the latest in science, nature, space, technology, exploration and more, here on Exploring Our World.

I want to show you what an amazing world we live in, so that perhaps you’ll be inspired to do something to make it a better place.

A bit about me: My name’s Richard and I’m currently living in England, though I hope to move to the U.S. sometime in the next few years. I’m really interested in the sort of things I write about on this blog (of course), and I’m also interested in news/current affairs, travel, and foreign languages (especially Mandarin Chinese).

Please tell me if you have any suggestions or general comments – anything at all – by commenting on this page. Alternatively you can email me ( blogearth[at]live[dot]com ). Also feel free to comment on individual posts – I’m always interested to hear other people’s points of view.

Thanks for visiting. Tell your friends about it!

  1. i wold like to know the countries that will be cobered with the moon eclipse shadow thanks and regards

  2. Salvador: If you look at my post about the lunar eclipse (click here) there’s a map showing which countries will be able to see the eclipse.

I’m assuming from your name you’re in Mexico – the eclipse will be visible in Mexico around the early evening.

    Hope that helps! 🙂

  3. Thanks, Richard, for your visit and kind comment – I’ve been lurking and meaning to drop you a note to say how much I’ve been enjoying your posts. Lots of interesting stuff here, and beautifully presented.

    I’ll be back.

  4. Thanks so much Eyegillian – it’s really nice to hear comments like that. I’m glad you like my blog so far. It’s been around for about a month and a half now, and I seem to enjoy blogging more and more every day.

    Thanks again. 🙂
